• Unchanging in His Character: Malachi 3:6(ESV) assures us, For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.
• True to His Word: Numbers 23:19(ESV) says, God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?
• A Promise Keeper: Hebrews 10:23 (ESV), Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

Why Does God’s Faithfulness Matter?

Because it gives us unwavering hope! Here’s how:

• Provides Comfort in Trials: Romans 8:28 (GNB) says, we know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose. Even in hardship, God has a plan.
• Strengthens Us in Weakness: Philippians 4:13(GNB) says, I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me. With God by our side, we can overcome anything.
• Guarantees His Love: Psalm 36:5(GNB) declares, Lord, your constant love reaches the heavens; your faithfulness extends to the skies. His love for us is constant and everlasting.

Holding Onto Hope
